Plugging in with Plugged In Students: Developing a Philosophy of Technology in the Classroom

This presentation focuses on the foundation educators use to make decisions regarding technology in the classroom. We will look at how educators can make informed decisions that most efficiently utilize whatever technology may be available to them and the students. After discussing the role of the teacher, we will review several active learning techniques that incorporate technology. We will also learn how to apply SAMR and TPACK in developing our "How, When, Why" answers.
