Do you know the key for Designing Effective iPad Lessons? Do you know what the key is to finding the right apps for your students? The most important thing is for us to look at the goals and objectives, and the state standards, then work to locate the wonderful apps and devices that can assist us with this journey.
• Share tips and strategies for helping you design and develop standards-based lessons by examining your objectives first.
• Introduce free and low-cost apps that will support student learning.
• Give participants an opportunity to experience using these iPad apps from "student-tested" cross-curricular lessons.
• Display actual student iPad work & projects
• How to access the student iPad work quickly
• How to collect data from the students while using the iPads
• Discuss how to differentiate your iPad instruction
• Discuss the management of the classroom iPads for a successful implementation
• Give participants a plethora of resources so they can build their personal repositories of teaching materials and lessons.
Teachers will look at designing their lessons first, and then learn about FREE apps that help meet their academic objectives. Participants will actively engage in a variety of student-tested lessons in order to demonstrate the power of learning with iPads. The goal of the workshop is to help teachers gain a deeper appreciation for the iPad as an educational tool.
